Join us on a Trip to Romania for the Bucharest International Airshow
Romania will once again hold the Bucharest International Air Show. The Romanian Air Force is expected to be present in force, and with a number of interesting types in its inventory (F-16, An-30, IAR-99, Yak-52, Alouette III, Puma, C-17J, C-130, EX135 and SA365), the home team alone is a guarantee of a good participation list. Among the confirmed foreign participants are the French Rafale and German Typhoon, Romanian Police Black Hawk and a Luftwaffe A400M.
We meet at Bucharest Otopeni Airport in the evening of the 27th, and we will proceed to our hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant, so dining should not be an issue.
The airshow is scheduled for the 28th and 29th, which includes a night show. Sunday 30th is earmarked as a reserve date, should weather on the 29th be unfavourable.
In any case, we will be at the airshow on both show days, and we will use the remaining day, as well as the morning of the 31st for wrecks and relics and museum collections in the area.
